Chromium Picolinate

Our diets contain little chromium.
Broccoli is the only food with a lot of chromium.
Meats, poultry and fish contain a little chromium.
You need to take a supplement to get enough chromium.

Chromium is often in a form that is difficult for the body to absorb.
Chromium picolinate is the best absorbed form of chromium.
Picolinate is made from a protein component found in living cells.
Picolinate increases the body's absorption of minerals like chromium.

How chromium picolinate works:
  • Improves insulin's effectiveness
  • helps control blood fat
  • helps control blood sugar
  • decreases body fat
  • decreases food cravings
  • helps prevent osteoporosis
  • stimulates muscle development
  • may slow the aging process

Chromium picolinate can do much to prevent the progression from insulin resistance to diabetes by controling blood sugar with less insulin production.

Side effects: occasionally a skin rash.
